Part 21 - Budapest, Hungary - Saint Stephen's Basilica


St. Stephen's Basilica is dedicated to Saint Stephen (St. Istvan, King Stephen I), the first Hungarian Christian king.


In the center of the altar is a statue of St. Stephen.


A religious relic: St. Stephen's mummified right forearm.


A stained glass image of the Holy Crown of Hungary, also known as the Crown of Saint Stephen. The cross is thought to have been bent in the 17th century when the lid of its iron storage chest was closed too hastily.
