Part 28 - Budapest, Hungary - The Chain Bridge
The Szechenyi Chain Bridge spans the Danube between Buda and Pest. It was our main route to locations in Pest (the eastern part of Budapest). We walked across it two or three times.

As in Pecs, lovers symbolize the permanence of their love by latching an engraved padlock to the cages that enclose the bridge lights - or to other parts of the substructure.
