Part 24 - Budapest, Hungary - Matthias Fountain

This fountain (which had no water during our visit) depicts the great Renaissance king, Matthias. According to a 19th century ballad, King Matthias, while on a hunting expedition, met a beautiful peasant girl, Ilonka, who fell in love with him.
