Part 2 - West to Mobile, AL
On September 29, after driving west along the coast, we took the Fort Morgan Ferry from the western tip of Perdido Key to the west side of Mobile Bay, and then north to Mobile, Alabama.
During the ferry ride, we saw plenty of what we assume are oil rigs.
In Mobile, we visited the battleship USS Alabama . . .
. . . and went on board.
There were also airplanes . . .
. . . and this view of the Mobile skyline.
